There’s going to be a swarm of music lovers grooving to the beats of Edward Maya, KK and Mika amidst sunny sands and sexy beaches as Channel [V] is back to Goa for the youth festival – Nokia Indiafest 2012 – Where Heroes Are Made.
The two-day long festival will see over 6000 students and 240 colleges take part in exciting competitions across 30 events.

After the successful preliminary rounds held across eight cities in India, the centre stage will be at Baga Beach in Goa. Participants will compete with the best of talent from across the country in contests like Tamasha (street play), LaunchPad (rock band performance), Rampage (fashion show), Directors Cut, Footloose, and much more. The evenings will also witness artistes playing live.
Prem Kamath, EVP and GM, Channel [V] says, “Through this annual initiative, Channel [V] will reach out to the undiscovered young talent in the country. The fest has seen overwhelming enthusiasm among the students last year, and a significantly higher participation this year.
